Marianne Rubino is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years’ experience as a psychotherapist; her M.S.W. is from New York University. She works with youths, families, couples and adults.
Her practice is informed by psychodynamic principles with the application of evidence based cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) practices, such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectic Behavior Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Ms. Rubino is a certified trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach, a relationship based CBT method for helping youths and families build productive communication behaviors. Trained in Trauma Recovery, she assists at local schools when a traumatic loss has been sustained. She has developed practices for those who can use Mindfulness exercises as an effective coping mechanism or for those who can make it an integral part of their lives. As a certified clinical supervisor, she uses her diverse experience to assist those attaining their clinical license.
